Co-operative Education placement at St. Mark Elementary School as a teacher's assistant, working with second grade students. Worked one on one with students, as well as in small groups. Currently enrolled in English and Professional Writing Program at York University, obtained high school diploma as an Ontario Scholar (for having an average above 80%) and received a Proficiency Award at commencement. Experience working with children as a babysitter, as well as experience as a pool attendant at a condominium hosting many families with young children. Supervised children during placement at St. Mark Elementary School. I have a passion for learning and a desire to explore the world of education as a future career path. I enjoy working with children and youth, and investing in their futures. Tutoring is something similar to teaching, which I have a growing passion for, and I love the idea of making this my part-time job while in university.
